The Greek Association of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (GAADRD) has welcomed us at their premises in “Agia Eleni” (Saint Helen) where we presented and showcased the robotic applications developed under the scheme of the FP7 RAPP project. The robotic applications aim to assist older adults without any knowledge on technology and those diagnosed with MCI, to use the robot in order to send emails, train with cognitive games and be informed about the weather and news. There are also applications that can inform users about hazards in the house like open doors etc.
The presentation was attended by the expertise personnel of GAADRD who evaluated the applications and suggested some alterations. Their contribution to our work was precious and we are thankful for their cooperation and support.
Thank you GAADRD
