Anastasia Partheni-Antonakaki was born in Volos, Greece, in 1993. In 2016, she graduated from the Law School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). In 2018, she got her first master in Sociology (of law), from the master program “History, Philosophy and Sociology of law” (Theory of Justice and Interdisciplinary Law Studies-AUTh). In 2020, she got her second master in Bioethics (AUTh). Her first thesis aims to deal with the issue of surrogate motherhood and the second one with the issue of diasbility and dance. Both of them are based on sociological research. She is also a dance/movement educator and she is part of Choreology 2.0, a professional dance program, that aims in the development of the unique movemnet skills each person has. She is always trying to keep up with the latest evolutions in her scientific and art fields. Her research (interdisciplinary) interests are focused on the following: sociology (of law), philosophy and history (of law), human body, movement, cultural studies, issues of bioethics, dance, relationship between art forms. She is currently a research associate in Art Diagnosis Center of Ormylia Foundation, focused on sociology, law, bioethics, human body issues.
