Evdoxios Mimis was born in Thessaloniki in 1977 and studied at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, where he graduated in 2002. He continued his postgraduate studies in the Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies of the Aristotle University “Protection, Maintenance and Restoration of Cultural Monuments”. He is also a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Ioannina. He has many years of experience in the preservation of museum exhibits, collections, excavation and enhancement of monuments and archaeological sites. The “Excavation Manual” and “Art of Fresco” are included in his writing work, while his research field includes the diagnosis and evaluation of archaeological finds through non-destructive methods, as well as the development of materials for the protection of metal objects.
